Privacy Policy
This site explains the observation deck at N Seoul Tower, the routes up Namsan on foot, by cable car or by the inclined elevator, and which parts of a visit carry a ticket and which cost nothing. Reading any of it asks for nothing. No registration, no login, no email address. There are no accounts and no forms anywhere on these pages, so no profile builds up as you move between guides. The site is plain reading, and that is the whole arrangement.
What Browsing Here Means
Reading these pages leaves almost no trace. The traffic figures shown to this site are pooled totals: pages loaded, a coarse country signal taken from the request, the device category, and aggregate clicks on outbound links like the observatory ticket link. A reader who opens the cable car guide and a reader who opens the ticket page are, in these numbers, just two page views. Nothing connects a view to a person. No email, no name, no card, and no history of pages read exists at the level of the individual, because nothing is collected that could build one.
Third-Party Scripts
Some code on these pages comes from elsewhere. The analytics service tallies its aggregate numbers under the terms it publishes itself, and where a map appears, it is loaded by the mapping company, which may drop its own cookies at that moment. Each of those parties receives the request that reaches it and processes it under its own policy. This site does not manage or extend those arrangements.
Nothing is bought on this site. When a reader decides to book the N Seoul Tower observatory ticket, they move to the seller's checkout, and it is that checkout alone which collects the card, the buyer's details and the delivery of the ticket. No card number, buyer name or order reference ever reaches this site or its owner. How the outbound links on these pages relate to the site's earnings is explained on the disclosure page.
Scripts And Links That Run Here
- Nothing about a reader is passed to, sold to or rented out to any third party, for the plain reason that no reader data exists in a form that could be transferred. A reader database was never built, so there is nothing here to hand anyone.
- These pages carry no advertising pixels, no cross-site trackers and no retargeting code. Once a reader closes a page, nothing keeps following them elsewhere, and no advertiser can learn that some specific person read about the observatory here.
- Nowhere on the site is an email address asked for. There is no newsletter, no mailing list, no login and no profile, so a reader has nothing to sign up for and equally nothing to opt out of.
- No payment is processed here. The seller's own checkout takes the money once a reader follows a booking link, so any question about a charge belongs with the seller that took it, not with this site.
- No forms sit on this site, so nothing you type here travels anywhere. The contact page gives a simple mailto address, which opens your own email client and sends any message through your provider rather than through this site.
Hosting
The site runs behind Cloudflare, whose network keeps standard server logs holding IP addresses and request details. Those logs exist to keep the pages available and secure, and they are held under Cloudflare's own policies rather than read or repurposed by this site. Nothing on the hosting side feeds back into the anonymous counts described above.
Your Choices
A private browsing window or a tracking blocker will stop the analytics scripts from loading, and every page on the site still works and reads exactly the same way. Blocking costs a reader nothing in content: the route comparisons up Namsan, the notes on what a ticket covers, and the ticket links are all plain pages that display without any tracking at all.
Questions about any of this can go to the mailto address on the contact page. How this site earns from the booking links in its guides is set out on the disclosure page.
